In Wellington, the Wellington Hurricanes won 28-26 over Queensland, snapping the Reds' record seven-match winning streak. In Cape Twon, the Stormers beat the Sharks 32-12 in a fierce contest between the leading South African sides, the Canterbury Crusaders doused a spirited Western Force challenge to notch a thrilling 42-30 win in Perth and the Bulls beat the Waikato Chiefs 43-27.
