Hilal secured the Zain Saudi Professional League title for the second straight year after beating visitors Al-Ra'id 2-1 at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium Friday. Ra'id midfielder Abdu Hakami had put the visitors ahead five minutes into the match, but Romanian midfielder Meriel Radoi brought Hilal level seven minutes before the break. Midfielder Mohammed Al-Shalhoub made it 2-1 in the 66th minute and secured the crown for the champion with two rounds to be played. Hilal has 58 points and two matches in hand. Ra'id on the other hand remains 10 on 27 points. In another matches, Al-Ittihad shared four goals with visitors Al-Qadisiyah in Jeddah; Al-Ittifaq routed visitors Al-Nasr 3-0 in Dammam; while Al-Shabab beat host Al-Wehdah 2-1 in Makkah. Ittihad is second on 47 points, while Qadisiyah is 12th on 22 points with a match in hand. Ittifaq moved up a spot with 42 points, while Nasr slipped from third to fifth spot on 40 points. Shabab moved one step up to fourth spot on 42 points; a two-goal difference behind Ittifaq. Wehdah is 11th on 22 points.
