RIYADH: King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, separately held talks with Dr. Essam Sharaf, Prime Minister of the interim government of Egypt, here Monday. The leaders discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and a number of issues of Arab and regional interests. His meetings with the Saudi leadership, Dr. Sharaf said, were at the highest “brotherly level”. In a press statemen, he praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom and Egypt and described them as deep-rooted and historic. Sharaf denied the existence of any problem between Egypt and the UAE which resulted in delaying his visit there. He said the visit will take place later and will include Oman and Bahrain.
