TURABAH: Camera phones have contributed in providing opportunities to many women to work as security inspectors in wedding halls and places where women are invited for parties so as to prevent them from carrying cameras or any picture-taking device. Many owners of wedding halls have installed magnetic gadgets to prevent women from entering with photography devices especially since they cause disturbances among the guests. This follows many complaints from guests that they were photographed without their knowledge. Umm Muhammad, a Saudi national, said: “Wedding halls and other public places for women now attract many girls to work there as security inspectors in return of lucrative salaries.”
