American Stewart Cink, boosted by two eagles, soared into a one-shot lead in Friday's second round at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut. Seeking his fifth PGA Tour title, Cink shrugged off bogeys on his first two holes to fire a six-under-par 64 on an overcast day at the TPC River Highlands. Eagles at the par-five sixth and 13th helped him post a 10-under total of 130, a stroke in front of compatriots Ken Duke (66), defending champion Hunter Mahan (63) and Lucas Glover (66). PGA Tour rookie Brad Adamonis carded a 68 to lie a further shot back in a tie for fifth with fellow Americans Kevin Sutherland (65) and amateur Michael Thompson (67). Cink, whose last PGA Tour victory came at the 2004 WGC-NEC Invitational, bogeyed the first and second before sinking a 30-foot birdie putt at the third. He set up his first eagle by hitting a driver from 265 yards to 20 feet at the sixth and picked up further shots at the seventh and eighth to reach the turn in 33. After three-putting for another bogey at the par-four 10th, he eagled the 13th by coaxing in a breaking putt from 50 feet. Further birdies on 15 and 17 swept him to the top of the leaderboard, ahead of early pacesetter Mahan whose flawless 63 was the lowest round of the week. Fijian world number nine Vijay Singh followed his opening 66 with a 68 to join a group of 14 players bunched at six under. Pressel seizes lead In New York, American Morgan Pressel posted her second straight bogey free round to vault into sole possession of the lead at the two million dollar LPGA Wegmans tournament on Friday. Entering the round in a six-way tie for eighth place, the 20-year-old shot seven-under 65 to move to a 10-under 34 total. Pressel compiled a string of six birdies in eight holes, including three straight on Nos. 9-11. She also birdied numbers seven, 13, 14 and 18 to give her a one-shot lead over Suzann Pettersen, of Norway. Pettersen is alone in second place after shooting a seven-under 65 to move to nine-under 135. She started on the back nine and birdied her first two holes before finishing strong with birdies on three of her last four. Asian dynamos Inbee Park and Ai Miyazato, of Japan, are two shots behind Pressel. They each posted their second straight four-under 68 and sit in a tie for third. World number one Lorena Ochoa carded a two-under 70 and is tied for 17th place, eight shots off the pace. Kaymer storms in front In Munich, Germany's Martin Kaymer will take a six-stroke lead into Sunday's BMW International Open final round after producing another faultless display at the Eichenried course on Saturday. Kaymer's five-under-par 67, to move to 18-under 198, left his nearest rival Charl Schwartzel of South Africa (66) needing to make up the second biggest catch-up of the year if he is to outdo Kaymer. Frenchman Thomas Levet (67) and Britons Paul Casey (67), Ross Fisher (67) and Benn Barham (69) are a further stroke back. Kaymer had surged five shots ahead of the field with a second round 63 playing alongside his hero Bernhard Langer, but the 23-year
