AHSA: A Civil Defense fireman stormed into a blazing fire early Thursday morning to rescue an Asian woman who was trapped inside her room in a house in Al-Thuluthiah District in Al-Hofuf. Naif Al-Zahrani put on a facemask, walked into the flames and smoke, located the old woman and carried her out on his shoulders, officials said Eight other firemen evacuated the other members of the family through a hole in the roof of the two-floor house. Lt. Col. Mansour Muhammad Al-Dowsari, spokesman of the Directorate of Civil Defense, said the operations room received a call for help with a huge fire and firefighters and specialists rushed to the scene. The teams learned that the woman was trapped in the blazing room on the first floor and Al-Zahrani rescued her.
