DENVER: Jonathan Sanchez gave up only two hits over 6 1-3 innings to guide the San Francisco Giants to a 6-3 win over the Colorado Rockies as the National League West's two top teams clashed Tuesday. San Francisco's offense gave Sanchez (2-1) a four-run lead to work with thanks to Pablo Sandoval's three-run homer before the lefty even stepped foot on the mound. Aubrey Huff also went deep for the Giants, who will go for the three-game sweep Wednesday and attempt to cut further into Colorado's two-game divisional lead. Brewers 9, Phillies 0: In Philadelphia, Randy Wolf pitched six crisp innings to steer Milwaukee over Philadelphia. Ryan Braun and Casey McGehee homered for Milwaukee, which became the first team to win a series against the NL East-leading Phillies this season. They'll try to complete a three-game sweep on Wednesday when Cliff Lee takes the mound for Philadelphia. Wolf (2-2) struck out five against his former team. The left-hander was Philadelphia's ace in the early 2000s. Marlins 6, Pirates 0: In Miami, Josh Johnson pitched seven scoreless innings and drove in the first two runs to help Florida beat Pittsburgh. Diamondbacks 5, Reds 4: In Cincinnati, Ryan Roberts – who only made the starting lineup because of an injury – hit two of Arizona's four homers to lead Arizona over slumping Cincinnati. Braves 10, Dodgers 1: In Los Angeles, Atlanta pitcher Brandon Beachy got his first major league victory by throwing six scoreless innings against Los Angeles. Astros 6, Mets 1: In New York, Wandy Rodriguez found his form against punchless New York, pitching seven sharp innings to lead Houston to victory.
