Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh Region, is scheduled to begin a 5-day official visit to Sweden at the invitation of Pierre Anksa, Governor of Stockholm Province. Prince Salman will meet with Swedish King Carol Gustaf XVI, Prime Minister Frederick Rhinefeldt and senior Swedish officials. Talking to Okaz over phone, Dr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Jide', the Kingdom's Ambassador to Sweden, said the visit will strengthen relations between the two friendly countries. The Swedish officials are looking forward to Prince Salman's visit as the Emir will be holding talks with senior officials and businessmen to serve the mutual interests of the two countries, he said. Foreign Minister Carl Bildt will hold a dinner party Thursday evening in Sofia's Alberta Palace in honor of Prince Salman. The Makkah Emir will also attend a dinner party in his honor hosted by Governor of Stockholm at Desinsga Palace. The Kingdom's embassy in Sweden will hold a special reception party Friday afternoon at Grand Hotel. Top Swedish personalities and Saudi students in Sweden have been invited to attend the reception. Prince Salman and his accompanying delegation will visit Stockholm and several museums and archeological sites. Senior officials will accompany Prince Salman. – Okaz __
