AFLAJ: A man in his twenties has been arrested by the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) in Al-Aflaj after waving a fake pistol at them in an attempt to escape their pursuit. The man had been spotted outside a shopping center harassing women from his four-wheel-drive vehicle, and when the Hai'a intervened he tried to flee the scene and scare them off by waving the pistol in their direction. The Hai'a managed to arrest him, however, and detain him. They discovered that he was carrying a toy pistol. A Hai'a spokesman said the man is being investigated by local police.
