TUNIS, Tunisia: Refugees who fled violence in Libya have welcomed an unusual visitor to their border camp in Tunisia — Angelina Jolie. The American actress visited Tuesday in her role as a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The UNHCR said in a statement that Jolie urged more international aid for the refugees, and the Jolie-Pitt Foundation had also made an “important donation” for the refugee operation. Jolie also praised the government of Tunisia for its generosity toward the refugees.
