JEDDAH: Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an initiative of ALJ Community Initiatives, announced hundreds of diversified job opportunities during Jeddah Labor Market exhibition, which is organized by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). BRJ participated in the exhibition through its section specifically dedicated for exhibitions. Mahir Hindi, BRJ branch director in Jeddah, said BRJ booth in the exhibition receives hundreds of young males and females every day, where they obtain information about available job opportunities at the private companies. Hindi said most job opportunities are in the fields of sales, accounting, carpentry, welding, mechanical engineering, painting, drivers, technicians, coffee makers, call center employees, production technicians, architects and security guards. In addition, other job opportunities are also announced through BRJ website, www.babrizqjameel.com, and through the productive household program, small projects finance, and taxi and truck ownership programs. Representatives of companies seeking qualified human power also visit BRJ booth in the exhibition, Hindi further said, adding that hundreds of job opportunities are currently existing in several fields through the direct employment and training beginning with employment programs. "The role of BRJ in the exhibition is not limited to employment. Instead, we finance small projects and franchise projects, as well as productive household projects. In the mean time, we are receiving requests from companies for individuals, who will be qualified through specific training programs designed by the companies and conducted through BRJ Training Institute." During the first quarter of 2011, Bab Rizq Jameel successfully created 12,184 job opportunities, an increase of 30 percent compared with the same period of the previous year 2010.
