The four-day event is taking place at the Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions here, under the patronage of Prince Mish'al Bin Majed, Governor of Jeddah. It has been organized by the Ministry of Labor in conjunction with the Human Resources Development Fund. Batarjee said that the JCCI wants to see 20,000 Saudis employed in companies operating in the Kingdom. “Equal attention will be given to male, female and handicapped job seekers,” said Batarjee. According to Batarjee the exhibition highlights efforts to give priority to Saudization, particularly youth employment. Specialized workshops will take place during the exhibition targeting job seekers, providers of education and training and other service providers. Around 80 companies and national institutions are participating in the exhibition, targeting Saudi graduates and male and female students aged between 16 and 35 years of age. “The exhibition is an opportunity for high school students and parents to learn more about the needs of the job market. This will enable them to match their studies with market needs,” said Elie Rizk, Chief Executive Officer of the exhibition. Tayba Al-Amoudi, the head of the Ministry of Labor's female office, said that the ministry receives job applications on its official webpage and then directs applicants to the jobs that match their qualifications in various private companies. She said the ministry follows up all applications and provides assistance if they have any complaints about the concerned company. __
