RIYADH: It is expected that an active southern wind along the western sector and northern region will raise dust and sand in central and northern parts of the Kingdom, according to a weather forecast report by the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental Protection. There is also the possibility of the formation of thunder clouds in the central, northern and eastern regions of the Kingdom and the southeast heights. The surface wind on the Red Sea will be northwest in the northern parts and will turn southwest in the central parts at speeds of between 15 to 35 kilometers an hour. Waves will be 1 to 1.5 meters while the surface wind in the Arabian Gulf will be southwest at speeds of 15 to 45 kilometers an hour.
