JEDDAH: Jeddah Police Tuesday apprehended seven men – six Pakistanis and a Sudanese – for allegedly being involved in stealing a shipment of reinforced steel rods. The suspects had been assigned by their employer to deliver the shipment to a customer but instead allegedly stole the shipment and sold it for SR100,000, after which they disappeared. The owner reported the incident to police.A team of detectives were assigned to track down the suspects who were found hiding in a ramshackle house in Al-Rehali District in northern Jeddah.
