JEDDAH: Police here Monday arrested three Ethiopians accused of robbing a man of SR70,000 as he left a bank. The police arrested the two shortly after they committed the crime. The man was leaving the bank in the city center carrying the cash in an envelope when two men snatched it and ran toward a third man waited for them at a nearby location. The man shouted for help and tried to catch them but they disappeared into the alleyways. The police received a report of the incident and sent Criminal Investigation Patrols into the area to catch the suspects. They were arrested and later confessed to their crime. They said one of them was monitoring the victim in the bank. Brig. Misfer Al-Juaid, Jeddah Police spokesman, said investigations are continuing to find out whether the suspects have been involved in other crimes.
