Moreover, the conference also aims to raise the level of quality of the research conducted and the studies that are published as well as to spread awareness of the merits of development and progress, specifically of the scientific community. Additionally, the event is designed to facilitate university students in participating and sharing their opinions and ideas pertaining to improving the environment of their universities, developing the education system to prioritize a greater dissemination of knowledge, embracing communication at an inter-university level to foster a sense of teamwork, developing personal, social, and administrative skills, and promoting a culture of volunteering, a sense of responsibility toward the country, and becoming better team-players. Talking about the Student Scientific Quality Prize (SSQP), Al-Ouhali noted that the prize aims to establish a spirit of noble competition amongst Saudi universities, to ensure the best and highest-quality student participation, underscoring the point that the emphasis is always on the quality of participation as opposed to the quantity. Moreover, this prize aims to inculcate the culture of quality and professionalism in the student scientific research field in all Saudi universities. Al-Anqari also announced that the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has allocated the generous sum of SR1.5 million for the male and female winners of the SSQP of this conference. “This sum of SR1,500,000 is divided to cover around 170 awards to be given for the winners of the different hubs of the submitted scientific researches and other works,” he added.
