QARIYAT: Prince Fahd Bin Badr Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Al-Jouf, has advised the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) to operate with “kindness, gentleness and patience as per the Islamic religion”. Prince Fahd made the remarks during a meeting with Sultan Al-Subai'i, the regional head of the Hai'a, and his senior officials, and further asked that the organization's members “focus on reforming behavior” rather thanpunishment which, he said, can lead to repeat offenses. “What we are all striving for is reform, and we also call upon you to pay no heed to what is sometimes said of the men of the Hai'a, as you have the confidence of the state and my confidence,” he said. “We support your efforts and the benefit they bring to the people of this country.”
