TABUK: A man was summoned to the police station after his son hit 11 pedestrians Saturday near Assijen Street while joyriding with his friend in the father's four-wheel-drive vehicle, authorities said. The pedestrians suffered moderate-to-slight injuries, according to King Fahd and King Khaled hospitals. Police reports said the teenage driver drove away from the scene, a police patrol spotted him on Sultana Street and he sped away when he was told to pull over. When he was forced to stop shortly after he ignored the police, the teenager and his friend got out of the car and fled on foot, police said. The car's information was checked and the owner was summoned, police added.
