war protesters, including the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers on the Vietnam War, have been arrested outside the White House. Saturday's arrests are part of demonstrations in Washington and throughout the country to mark the eighth anniversary of the Iraq war. The demonstrators cheered as Daniel Ellsberg, the leaker, was arrested. The protesters carried signs demanding that troops be withdrawn from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Others supported Bradley Manning, the Army private suspected of leaking classified documents to Wikileaks. Similar protests were also planned in Chicago, San Francisco and other cities.
