RIYADH: Mt. Everest Eleven Nepal downed Obayar 3-2 in a thrilling group match of the 6th Keli Football Tournament for Lulu Cup at the Presidency of Youth Welfare Stadium here Friday.
Mt. Everest Eleven took the lead in the 6th minute. Santhosh Limbu, from the right, split the defense and lobbed the ball to Satran. His strong header broke the hearts of Obayar supporters (1-0). Obayar scored the equalizer in the 16th minute when striker Sinofer received a pass from the midfield.
Uttam Limbu converted a penalty to put Mt. Everest Eleven Nepal ahead in the 25th minute. But Obayar equalized again through substitute Shajil.
Mt. Everest Eleven's winning goal came in the dying minutes. Santosh Limbu, scored a spectacular goal as he dived parallel to the ground to divert an Uttam Limbu cross. Santosh Limbu was declared the Man of the Match. __
