day employment forum which opened Sunday in Makkah seeks to train and find jobs for young Saudis. The event is being organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Makkah. In his welcome address, Dr. Wahid Bin Saeed Azhar, President of the Organizing Committee, said that the forum is being held to ensure that Saudi youth have jobs and can live decent lives. Azhar said the Makkah chamber is determined to ensure that the event takes place every year, with the support of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the rest of the Saudi leadership. In his speech, Talal Bin Abdul Wahab Mirza, chairman of the Board of Directors of the chamber, said that Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah, wants to see jobs and training provided for young people. He said the chamber is working with community-based organizations in Makkah to meet the goals for Saudization in the country. Meanwhile, a cooperation agreement was signed at the forum between the Human Resources Development Fund, the Saudi Bin Laden Group and various hotel groups. After the ceremony, Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Al-Khudairi, the undersecretary of Makkah, expressed his delight that the forum was being held to create jobs for Saudi men and women.
