Umrah pilgrim dies as bus overturns

An Umrah pilgrim from Syria died and 34 others were injured when their bus heading for Syria from Makkah overturned several times after colliding with a Chevrolet Caprice car.
Soon after the accident, Tabarjal General Hospital was kept in a state of emergency, Okaz reported on Tuesday.
Salah Abdul Dayim, Director of the hospital, summoned all medical and nursing staff to treat the seriously injured. Some of them were transferred to Sakaka Hospital as Tabarjal does not have a neurosurgeon. __
