Health ministries in all countries sending Haj and Umrah pilgrims have been advised to abide by Kingdom's health regulations. The Ministry of Health has requested Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform concerned authorities in all countries about the regulations that consist of immunization against meningitis and polio, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on Monday. Production of certificate on meningitis immunization has been made compulsory for all pilgrims. Pilgrims from countries affected by polio are required to vaccinate their children before coming to the Kingdom. Oral vaccines will be given to them on arrival, SPA said. __
