BEIRUT: The Saudi film “Khorooj” (Exit) of director Tawfiq Al-Zaydi has won the Golden Prize at the Lebanese Film and Television Festival which concluded recently in Beirut. Syrian films received the most golden prizes, including: Dance of the Crow (Raqsat Al-Ghurab) of director Alaa Addin Sha'ar; The Decision (Alqaraar) of Faisal Marji and Brain Charge (Shuhnat Addimagh) of Ahmad Hassaan. A number of artists and journalists were honored at the conclusion including Saudi woman poet Sara Al-Hajiri. The festival started last Friday and included 20 short and long films from Lebanon and Arab countries. An exhibition on film and television production was held on the sidelines of the event.
