RIYADH: Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) launched a new prepaid package called "Hala National" that features many options including reduced rates for local calls and free bonus after recharge. The new package which targets new and existing Mobily customers gives the most reduced rates for local calls offered in the prepaid packages in the Kingdom. In a statement Saturday, Mobily said through "Hala National", customers can assign one favorite local number to enjoy making calls to the favorite number (ON NET) for 40 halalah per minute and for 50 halalah per minute if the chosen number is outside Mobily's network. Outgoing local calls to other numbers will be charged for 45 halalah/minute and 55 halalah/ minute on Mobily network and other operators respectively. Customers, who wish to go for all umbers discount option, can choose the evening discount feature to enjoy a low rate for all outgoing local calls (ON NET) for 40 halalah/minute. Evening discount starts from 11:00 P.M. every day and lasts until 7:00 A.M. the following day. One of the competitive aspects that "Hala National" offers is that all customers will receive a 100 percent free bonus amount that will be equal to the recharged amount. "Hala National" is one of "Hala" packages series launched by Mobily to provide its customers with different services designed to everyone needs. The series includes "Hala International" which gives reduced rates for international destinations including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt and many more. Mobily's marketing strategy of segmentation is the first in the Saudi telecom market that fulfill what customers need and expect. The company introduced "Raqi" for VIP customers, "Najma" for ladies and "Fallah" for youth segment. Since entering the Saudi market in 2004, Mobily adopted a solid expansion strategy, based on a direct and indirect sales channels. This strategy allowed Mobily to quickly expand and establish the Mobily brand throughout the Kingdom.
