two game drive of EKIS starred by Zaldy Bacero, Jimmy Leonida and team captain Ernie Geslani confounded rivals. String of whirling blows made the Geslani-led team better squad taking 16 points on 3,540-3,463 settlement to compute 279 and be on top of the overall team standings. On separate lanes, Lance & 3rdy displeased Shawly Bowlers as TC Ric Reformado, Joey Calapatia and team manager Evelyn Santoc launched an all-out defense to be the overall output winner and consequential team of the week of the 12th session of the FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling League 10th conference at the Bowling City here. EKIS, albeit the 257 of Bacero was actually blanked at 1,262-1,188 on the entrance set with Globe's Ruben Gri?o and Rod Morales superlatively blasting 270 and 245 given solid support by assistant TC Danny Manriza, Noe Leysa, Nondee de Guzman and Imelda Sayago. But with the post-game motivation of the team head, EKIS heightened the adrenalin which resulted in 1,242-1,107 retaliation with Geslani at the helm with 247. Morales with 212 tried regaining composure for Globe, but with the other side all convincingly scoring at par, EKIS went home victoriously as new league leader edging Make My Day at 279-278 on the running computation. Lance & 3rdy ended its groping when it edged Shawly Bowlers with its 1,292-1,162 endgame triumph that overwhelmed it while signing a victorious overall output of 3,697-3,632. Shawly was actually better by points as they eclipsed Lance & 3rdy on the first two sets at 1,191-1,148 and 1,279-1,257 for 11-9 disparity including the scratch overall of 3,398-3,382. On the other hand Lance and 3rdy happily rejoiced for emancipating itself from losing stint and significantly turned out the best team of the week, enough reason for TC Reformado (677) and TM Evelyn (619) to thank Rey Beltran (589), Ed Tuico (582), Calapatia (660) and Tito Cruz (570). But Shawly Bowlers have something to celebrate as Sally Sa?osa became the best lady bowler with her handicapped total of 670 from games of 233, 195 and 242. Sa?osa earned her second Bowler of the Week honor for this feat. Micah's Pride also finished superbly by trashing No Fear featuring the Bowler of the Week honor-winning scores of Jun Estefano totaled at 684. Opposed by Cesar Monares leading No Fear with 609, Estefano offensively walled Micah's with his dreaded blows of 237, 232 and 215. Such display of consistency enthused Oca Bernabe (585), Bonnie Garcia (575), Ruel Santoc (638), Ronnie de Castro (598) and TM Ester Santoc to contribute solidly. Micah's Pride lopsidedly thumped No Fear on final tallies of 20-0 (3,635-3,459). Also winners this week were Bowlodrome Shark downing Dynamic Keglers (16-4), Pinoy Salo-Salo blanking Gulf Oil, J&J Bowling Idols outpointing Sabban Electro Mechanical Co. (14-6) and Make My Day defeating Bowling Is Fun at 16
