eight parliamentarians of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have signed an impeachment motion against President Pervez Musharraf. “The impeachment motion against Musharraf would soon be presented in the parliament,” PML-N MP Hanif Abbasi told the reporters. He said the entire nation was looking for the government to prove the supremacy of parliament, which he said could not be achieved without impeaching a dictator and his associates. Abbasi said the nation was angry to see a dictator still sitting as president despite the clear mandate in the general elections against him and his associates. Pakistan's problems could not be resolved without ousting Musharraf from the Presidency, he added. Abbasi said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had also promised to support the impeachment motion. He said the economic problems from which Pakistan suffered could not be overcome without restoring the sacked judges. __
