BURAIDA/ONAIZA/HAIL/TAIF: Government departments across the country Sunday started implementing the Royal Decrees aiming at improving the lives of citizens. In Qasim 10,000 people on the waiting list of the Saudi Credit Bank were delighted at the order to raise the bank's capital to SR30 billion. Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al-Khushaiban, bank's director, said waiting lists will be shortened. The Labor Office there has received many calls and visits because people are asking when will the unemployment aid be implemented, whether it includes women and how much the amount would be. “The office has used the chance to promote jobs at some private bodies,” said Abdul Aziz Al-Hanaya, the office director. In Buraida a number of people said the King's orders show his concern for his people. “There is a strong incentive for the unemployed to search further for jobs,” they said. A number of Onaiza's charitable societies' officials said the 50 percent increase in their budgets will benefit the needy. About 54 societies in Qassim alone will benefit from the decisions. The Social Security Office in Taif referred 200 job seekers to the Labor Office after they came to register for the unemployment aid at the social office. In Hail an official from the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank said the bank has started setting up a new mechanism to facilitate procedures and disburse loans to people on the waiting list, as well as a mechanism to guarantee the correct order of people on the list. He said a meeting of directors of the bank's branches will take place at the end of this week to set up procedures which will be announced later on its website.
