n Jabair Ali Mohammed Masters student of Mechanical Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh After finishing my Masters, my future plans are to get enrolled in a PhD program with a focus on Material Sciences. And beyond that, who knows? I may find a good position to get my feet wet so that I can get some engineering experience and then take my career from there. I would prefer to work here in Saudi Arabia because according to me, Saudi Arabia is the only country that is capable of maintaining its economy for nearly another century. And like every expatriate who has come here to make some money, even I want to make some money while at the same time contributing to the region's economy. n Mohammed. G. A. Ansari Master's researcher/student Bio-Technology Department King Saud University, Riyadh With respect to the future, the Saudi Arabian market has great potential, as the nation has understood the importance of education, hence investing a major portion of the national budget in education and research, which gives a base to young researchers. When the whole world was experiencing an economic recession, Saudi Arabia managed to maintain a steady rate of growth. I believe that one should not run behind success but try and seek excellence; success follows you. And I will do the same by staying in Saudi Arabia and continuing my research. n Rawan Fayiz Jaha Undergraduate student in Medicine, King Abdul Aziz University Helping people has been my passion since I was a little girl. In order to keep this passion alive I decided to become a doctor, which will put me in a position to help people continue living. I chose the King Abdul Aziz University for its reputation in producing excellent graduates. n Yasmine abu Halawa Grade 11 student, Manarat Int'l School (GS) Jeddah Around this time last year, I was a 10th grader frantically studying for my IGCSE exams. As far as I was concerned, that was what I had to do: study. But now, when I have the freedom to choose, I realized it wasn't as easy as I thought. I may be free to choose, but how will I? Adults often talk about how us teenagers don't know what we want. That's simply because of the number of choices ahead of us. Should I become a doctor like my parents and study in Egypt? Or should I follow my grandfather and become a teacher and study here? Or should I follow my dream and become a writer anywhere else in the world? People may plan ahead, but those plans are merely guidelines to be considered, because no matter what you plan, fate will always be one step ahead. But that doesn't stop me from having one simple plan that I will apply to whatever I do: Success n Nada Nisar Ahmed Grade 11 student, IISJ Jeddah During my schooling, I made my mind to become an engineer. My inspiration is my father and family, as most of my family members are engineers in different fields. For further studies I would like to continue my education where I get enough options to choose my career-oriented education. However, I would like to pursue my career in a computer-oriented Bachelor's degree. I would like to request the educational institutions of Saudi Arabia to open colleges in Jeddah, so that students like me can benefit. n Mariam Mohammed Sherif Grade 9 student, Manarat Int'l School (GS), Jeddah There is no doubt that every creature on Earth has an aim that it strives to accomplish. Ambition might have many definitions but to me it is the desperate urge to succeed and achieve my goals. Saudi Arabia has offered me a lot and I intend to return the favor. Therefore, I'm going to pursue a legal career in Human Rights and attempt to help every person whose rights have not been entertained.
