year-old child to his family Sunday after he was abducted earlier in the day by a man from in front of a small shop in Yanbu Al-Nakhl. Officers reportedly observed the boy in the back of a car near a field in the Al-Naqadi area Saturday, when they received a police report concerning the abduction of a child and a description matching the alleged abductor and the boy in the car. When they approached the vehicle the driver attempted to flee, but officers managed to restrain him. The alleged abductor is reportedly a 43-year-old man who is believed to have been involved in a number of similar incidents. “We have received several reports of children being abducted by a man who takes them away in his car before later returning them,” said Madina Police spokesman Muhsin Al-Radadi. “A description of the wanted man was obtained and he was arrested yesterday and the child was found in his car.”
