Four dead in Tunisia

government protesters clash with riot police in downtown Tunis Saturday. Three persons were killed in the clashes, an Interior Ministry official told Reuters. State TV showed a funeral of a 19-year-old man who was killed Friday after being shot on central Avenue Bourguiba. The official said another 12 had been injured in the clashes, which he said occurred after a riot orchestrated by loyalists of ousted president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. He said about 100 people had been arrested.
