Warehouse fire put out in Jeddah

A Civil Defense employee was moved to hospital after he sustained injuries in extinguishing a fire in a gas warehouse in northern Jeddah on Sunday.
Seven Civil Defense teams extinguished the fire an hour after it broke out. The fire also engulfed a neighboring ironsmith's workshop and a cafeteria, Okaz reported.
Brig. Gen. Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, Director of Jeddah Civil Defense, said that the flames razed an area of 300 square meters. He said the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. __
