CAIRO: The Saudi Embassy in Cairo has said that the second university semester in Egypt will begin on March 5 following a decision from the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. Muhammad Al-Uqail, the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Egypt, said in a statement Thursday that the embassy had advised all Saudi students of the date by private e-mail and announced it on its website. “The date for some students to complete their examinations has been set for Feb. 26, and students can contact the Cultural Attaché's office for further information on those examinations,” Al-Uqail said. “Registration for the second semester also begins on Feb. 26, and will continue over the week.”
