LOS ANGELES: Dennis Rodman, who won five NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons, was among 12 finalists announced Friday for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Ex-NBA players Jamaal Wilkes, Maurice Cheeks, Chris Mullin and Ralph Sampson were also finalists for induction. The other finalists are former NBA coaches Al Attles, Dick Motta and Tex Winter, college coaches Tara VanDerveer and Herb Magee, five-time women's Olympian Teresa Edwards and college referee Hank Nichols.
