JIZAN: An African man reported missing by his sponsor over a week ago has been found hanging from a ceiling fan in his living quarters here, Thursday. Police, who had been conducting an extensive search for the man, were called to the site after the man's sponsor reported foul odors emanating from the room. When the door was broken down, they found him hanging by the neck in an apparent act of suicide. Acquaintances of the deceased said he was a well-respected member of the community and although his family, who had been living with him in the building before leaving the country, no indications of suicidal tendencies were apparent in the deceased. Following forensic investigations, however, a police official said that no evidence of suspicious circumstances was found at the scene.
