An expert in forgery was arrested in Jeddah on Saturday. The alleged cheat was nabbed from a ramshackle house in Jeddah after he and an accomplice struck a deal with an undercover agent of Jeddah Police. Forged official documents, medical certificates, medical leave papers and other counterfeit documents were seized from the house, Okaz reported on Sunday. The alleged culprit exercised extra caution to have an assistant who made deals with clients. The nabbed forger used to meet only “major” clients. The house was under surveillance for a week, during which, the forger and his assistant were spotted many times at different places delivering envelops to their customers. When the police arrested the duo they found stamps, certificates, licenses, and identification letters. A document was forged for SR200 only. Meanwhile, an Arab national was arrested in Madina trying to circulate forged money valued at SR20,000. Madina Police spokesman, Colonel Abdul Mohsin, said the suspect is being interrogated. __
