DAMMAM: Stars of Patturummal, a reality contest on Mappilappattu Muslim songs in Malayalam language, which is being aired in Kairali TV channel, will be performing at Dammam's King Fahd park on Dhahran road today, Wednesday.?At King Fahd park, ITL entertainment group and Malayalam communications firm are jointly organizing the event for the Keralite community in the Eastern Province.?Patturummal International is the only reality TV show for Mappila songs which has generated followers across the world, particularly the Gulf's Keralites.? In a press conference in Dammam, ITL Managing Director Siddiq Ahmed said the program is conducted in the Eastern Province to promote Muslim songs which have special string accompaniment, style and melody. The program will start at 6 P.M. The organizers said Kairali Channel's Managing Director John Brittas will attend the program, which is also scheduled to be presented in Riyadh on Feb. 17 at the Yamama Resorts.
