AFLAJ: A schoolteacher in the town of Al-Asila to the north west of Wadi Dawasir was shot and injured Sunday by a parent who had gone to the school to pick up his son's report. Saqr Fahhad, the principal at Al-Hadhab Primary and Intermediate School, said that a teacher was shot by a man in his fifties after an argument broke out between them. “The man left the building and got a pistol from his car, then starting shooting randomly at the school building,” he said. “One of the shots went through the door of the school, another hit the teacher in the leg. Members of staff took him to hospital.” Police said that they were still trying to locate the gunman. “We will provide more details as soon as we have located him and arrested him,” a police spokesman said.
