RIYADH: More than 80 percent of the world's population have access to Friday sermons telecast live by the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah satellite channels from the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madina, said Dr. Suliman Bin Muhammad Al-Eidi, supervisor general of the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunna TV channels. Members of the teaching staff in Taiba University in Madina simultaneously translate the sermons from the Prophet's Mosque and Holy Haram and summarize them in English, he said. The Holy Qur'an Channel is distinguished by transmitting photos of the Holy Kab'a and Al-Rawda Al-Shareefa and transmitting recitation of the Holy Qur'an, he added.
