RIYADH: The Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences is holding a three-day workshop from Sunday on strengthening international cooperation in the fight against terrorism. Khaled Al-Harfash, the university's head of public relations, said the workshop was part of continual efforts to benefit from “the strategic international relations that link the university to various countries, international organizations and non-governmental organizations around the world”. “The workshop aims to help participants acquire advanced skills in the field of anti-terrorism and work on strengthening international cooperation,” he said. “It will discuss a number of important papers on subjects related to the fight against terrorism, such as the role of the relevant UN crime and drugs department in enforcing international law, and a range of legal considerations such as exchanges in legal assistance.” He said that participants from the Arab World, Asia and Europe would all share their experience in legal practices and international cooperation to combat terrorism.
