RIYADH: Aljomaih Automotive Company, dealer of Chevrolet and GMC cars in Saudi Arabia and the biggest dealer for General Motors in the Middle East, organized recently its second annual gathering for the company's clients and public officials at Reem International Circuit in Riyadh. The gathering also was attended by senior officials of the company, as well as Prince Bandar Bin Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz, the honorary President of Reem International Circuit, and Prince Sultan Bin Bandar Bin Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz, and Sheikh Hamad Bin Abdul Aziz Aljomaih. The occasion was highlighted with test-driving of Camaro and the recently launched two Cadillac models (CTS coupe - CTS-V), test-driving family and sedan cars like Chevrolet Cruze and Malibu, and test-driving of 4X4 vehicles like Tahoe and Traverse. The new model of the practical car Chevrolet Spark 2011 was also unveiled. David Matta, general manager of Riyadh branch and prime brands at Aljomaih Automotive, said such meetings represent the company's recognition of its clients, and also an opportunity to enjoy a one-day long driving of the company's new cars at Reem International Circuit. Aljomaih Automotive has 99 branches, including showrooms, service centers and spare parts centers all around Saudi Arabia and they all work together to provide integrated first-class services to clients, he added. Sheikh Hamad Aljomaih presented valuable gifts to clients. GM sales rose seven percent last year in Saudi Arabia to 62,167. GMC sales increased by 19 percent, while those of Cadillac soared by 52 percent. The top five selling cars were GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Aveo, GMC Yukon XL and Chevrolet Suburban. The fastest selling GM vehicles in Kingdom were Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Cadillac SRX, Corvette, GMC Yukon XL, Escalade, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Yukon, Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Suburban and Chevrolet Tahoe.
