JEDDAH: There are still three people missing because of the floods. Information obtained by Okaz/Saudi Gazette showed that 20-year-old Mashari Rashed Al-Harbi, who was reported as missing during the floods, is in police custody facing criminal charges. This was confirmed by Maj. Gen. Muhammad Al-Qarni, Director of the Emergency Center in Jeddah. Aisha Wali Al-Hakmi, aged 39, who was also reported missing downtown, could possibly be visiting her son in a remote town, said her family. The third person missing is Shareef Fankala Sharari, an Indian national. His brother said he went missing at Al-Bawadi District which is not one of the districts affected by the floods. Al-Qarni said a search team has looked for them in various places including areas affected by the floods, main streets, under overturned cars and among trees and grass.
