Five women teachers were saved from drowning when the vehicle they were traveling in was swept away by flash floods in Yibah Valley (Wadi Yibah) in Asir Region on Friday.
The floods isolated over 450 school boys and girls from five villages of Khamees Harb, east of Al-Qunfuda, Al-Riyadh said.
The driver of the Land Cruiser SUV carrying the five women teachers tried to cross Wadi Yibah, but in the middle of the valley floodwaters caused the SUV to veer from its route. __
