JEDDAH: Schools in Jeddah will reopen as planned next Saturday, the Education Administration has said. The head of Jeddah Education made the statement after a meeting Sunday with Jeddah Governor Prince Mish'al Bin Majed to discuss the Education Administration's Unified Emergency Committee report on the condition of school buildings and facilities and progress in cleaning and repair work following the recent floods in the city. He said that the Emergency Committee had benefited from the close interest of Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, in work carried out at schools to address flood damage and prepare them for classes as per the previously scheduled holiday timetable.
