Poy marked the 6th week of the FEDBG-FMBL 6th conference with a brilliant overall team performance of 2,964 against Romblomanon's 2,881 to take the City Restaurant Team of the Week honor. Skipper Jay Bengco spearheaded his lineup with 196, 214 and 230 for a 640 total series. Not far behind was the towering pretty bowler Rea Llanes scoring 617 tpf online with 240, 185 and 192. Llanes coped Lady Bowler of the Week Award. The ever jolly better-half of Jay Bengco, Janice' 547 tpf, Rommel Marasigan's 547 tpf, 417 tpf of Chito Marquez and 172 tpf from Doming Malabanan sliced the gap of league leader to only 4 points. Meanwhile, Hermie Mantes of the Romblon side shared Llanes on the spotlight by bagging the men's division Bowler of the Week with a total handicap of 682. The former military sergeant from San Andres, Romblon almost leveled the current record but his games of 224, 233 and 225 got short by couple of marks. Teammate Andy Yumena fully backed up Mantes with 638 tpf to cut short the domination of The Champ-Poy and sniped 4 points for the Romblomanon at the end of the match. Bowling City is Fun's improved Robert de Guzman sampled Cobra team of a classic performance of 638 tpf. from the games of 189, 212 and 237 to lead BCIF for its 20-0 ransack of the Mustafa Fahmi-led squad. But it was not a solo show for de Guzman, as Yassir Hokbi scratched 601 from remarkable games of 174, 224 and 203. With only Hana Gazzaz bowling beyond average at 611 Cobra failed to bite and embraced the 2,833-2,791 conclusion instead. Micah's Pride and Saudia Prime Lane Armors fought for supremacy. Armors had something to celebrate when it outpointed the most consistent and back-to-back champ, 11-9. Armors started sluggish where Micah's took advantage. At the end of Game 1, each team split 2 points, but with only Melvin Lising delivering 202 for the Oliver Malicsi-led group, Micah's displayed its champion touch in Game 2, wherein Ed Cordova, TC Francis Alquiros and Arnold Santoc smashed 214, 211 and 204. But there was reversal in Game 3, when Armors showed its powerful blast and justified its status as league leader by taking the 4 points and eventually taking the most important 5 overall points on aggregate of 2,946-2,868. The heroic act in Game 3 came from of Raffy Masiglat (202) and Rene Punzalan (201). Punzalan was top in Armors kegs with 605 tpf. Luvenor maintained its winning spree by handing a clean sweep to Waraynon Amihan 20-0. __
