Faisal, head of Saudi Automobile Federation, crowned winners of the third round of the Saudi Radical Championship, which was run for two days at Reem International Circuit, under the sponsorship of Mobil 1. From the very beginning of the race and amid the roaring engines of the 18 Radical cars participating in race, it was obvious that the competition would be between three teams in 1500cc category, GR8 Racing with its three drivers Faisal and Osama Shaker and the Lebanese Doumat bou Doumat, and the Saudi Falcon Racing Team led by Raed Abo Zinadah and Bandar Alireza, and the third team Big Wheel Racing Team led by Faher Al-Sharif and his teammate Midhat Sheikh Alardh. In the 1300cc category, the competition was obvious that it would be between the championship leading racer Saher Fatafitah from Sigma Capital Racing Team and Abdullah Al-Gain from GR8 Racing Team. Once the race kicked off, the Lebanese driver Doumat started from the first lane, after scoring the best time in the qualifying round, followed by his teammate Faisal Shaker in the second lane. With the green light popped on, Faisal shocked spectators including his teammate when he passed him and headed toward the lead until the end of the round, while the competition for both second and third position was opened among Raed Abu Zinadah, Doumat, Ali Reda and Faher Al-Sharif. A fierce competition among the four drivers for the second place kept on till the end of the round, until the long experience of the Lebanese driver played a great role in controlling the situation, where he managed to surpass Abu Zinadah in the 10th lap, who suddenly slowed down leaving the third place to Faher Al-Sharif. Meanwhile, in the 1300cc category, Al-Gain led the race since its beginning, and he maintained his performance and speed till the last minute and thus won the first place and the cup, while Fataftah came second and Talal bin Laden of Saudi Falcon Racing Team, came third.
