TAIF: A sheep belonging to a man in the Al-Qurashiyat region, 90 km to the north of Taif, is set to enter the Guinness Book of World Records after it was sold for SR200,000. Animal breeder Fahd Al-Qahtani said he sold the sheep to a consultant doctor from a university hospital, and attributed the price to the animal's “extremely rare breed”. “It has certain characteristics that only an expert in the field can spot,” he said of his prize sale. “It has cotton hair of an almost yellowish hue, and if it's put among other sheep it will produce many offspring which will in turn bring in a lot of profit.”
