TABUK/MAKKAH: A police source in Tabuk has said that three teenagers hurled stones at two parked vehicles used in the Saher traffic camera system. Two of the alleged perpetrators have been detained while police are still in search of the other. The source also said that undercover patrols have been drafted in to provide protection for Saher cars and the officials operating the speed cameras aboard. A representative of the company operating the Saher system said that officials in the two vehicles were also attacked. A third vehicle working for the Saher system was also vandalized in Makkah. A spokesman for Makkah Police said that the authorities were pursuing “three young men” believed to have been involved in the incidents.
