DAMMAM: As part of India's 62nd Republic Day celebrations, the International Indian School Dammam (IISD) is organizing a two-day career fair and seminar starting on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the boys' section campus. ? ?Representatives from a few leading educational institutions will attend including BITS Pilani from Dubai; RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Dubai; RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE); Indira Gandhi National Open University; SRM University from Chennai; and NITTE, Bangalore. Also represented will be Brindhavan Group, Mysore; Skyline University College, Sharjah; and the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Dubai. Shashindra Jain, second secretary, economics and commerce, from the Indian embassy in Riyadh, will inaugurate the fair at 9:30 AM. A career awareness seminar will take place at 5 PM on Wednesday at the boys' section multipurpose hall. Dr. Adil S. Dossary, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals' chairman of city and regional planning department, will inaugurate the seminar. Dr. Deepak Mongia, from Aramco change and communication management, will address the audience on Jan. 27.? ?According to Dr. E.K. Mohammed Shaffe, the school's principal, “The fair will be an ideal platform for students to learn about prestigious colleges, courses and facilities offered. We invite all concerned parents to visit this fair and attend the seminar so that the right decisions can be made regarding higher studies for their children”
