Natco, Zinda, SSP and ACE Travels in Natco Cup semis

JEDDAH: Saudi Steel Profile will play ACE Travels while Natco Saudi Arabia will face Zinda Tilismat in the Natco Cup semifinals in the Jeddah Cricket Association Division-I.
The semifinals lineup was finalized after Saudi Steel Profile Company team scored a 17-run win over Ravi Cricket Club, while Old Student Cricketers beat Peeran-XI by 6 wickets in the 12th week matches of Div.-I. The event is sponsored by Natco International Freight and Cargo Services.
Batting first in the first match of the day Saudi Steel Profile Company team scored 224-6 in its quota of 18 overs. Its openers Sadiq Memon (91) and Rana Shahzad (84) set the ball rolling with some hard-hitting. Shafiullah and Kashan took two wickets each for the Ravi cricketers.
Ravi Cricketers in reply could score only 208 runs - 17 runs short of the mark. Kashan hit 73 runs while Shafiullah added 47, Osman 18 and Bali 18. Rana Shahzad with his spin picked up 2-11, Zaheer 3-18, Abdul Rauf 2-49, while veteran Syed Muzaffar Hussain and left-arm spinner Shahid bagged a wicket each for Saudi Steel Profile team.
In the second match of the day Peeran-XI made 184-5 in its allotted 16 overs against Old Students-XI. Haneef was the top-scorer with 54 runs. Sifarish made 42 and Nadeem contributed 28. Asif 2-18, Amin 1-20 and Tauseef 1-22 were among the wickets for Old Students.
In reply the Old Students-XI reached its target 186-4 in 14.5 overs thereby winning the match by six wickets. Noman made 54 runs with the help of eight fours and a six, Tauseef scored 41, Naveed 36 and Najam 26. Ali and Shabbir bagged two wickets each for Peeran
